On our most recent trip to the Louisville, Kentucky, we stopped at a very HIDDEN restaurant called Troll Pub Under the Bridge .  When we say under the bridge, it practically is under a bridge. The only way to enter the building is by making your way past the giant troll, and walking down the stairs to the underground restaurant. It's a very unique dining experience. It has such a secluded and make-believable feel to it while inside. Also, check out this gnarly troll scaling the stairway. He's a fun photo opportunity.  The food menu and drink  menu are both pretty big with lots of options. We decided to go with a the beer cheese burger and the tender dinner. The very original beer cheese burger had a simple set up. It included the meat patty, smoked fried onions, and beer cheese, all on a salted pretzel bun. It was a very decent burger. The onions were full of flavor, the beer cheese was creamy and mild, and not overpowering which was a pleasure ...

Tasty here, taking you out of the city and down to Laurelville, Ohio.  We are very familiar with Laurelville, and if you aren't, it is a small rural town just south of Columbus. It is not a very big town, but it does have a couple small restaurants within the populated area with Mam's Rusted Skillet being one of them. This restaurant is new to the area, and we were happy to give it a try! Mam's Rusted Skillet is a small bar and grill. When you pull up outside you will find cute country decor. They have a limited menu right now, and it seems to be working quite well. The inside is what you would expect a bar and grill to look like, but it did have a very comfortable vibe to it which was nice. We kept things simple and ordered cheeseburger platters. The platter comes with your choice of fries or chips, and cottage cheese or coleslaw. We went with fries and cottage cheese!   Also during our time in Hershey, we decided to have breakfast before heading back home. We wound up at the Hershey Pantry . When I first read the name of the restaurant, I did not think it was going to be that great. I say that because it just seems like the name of a tourist trap. I'm sure you all get what I'm saying. No? Okay. Moving forward. Upon reaching our destination, we found the place to be swarming with people. It was PACKED. We both looked at each other in surprise. Maybe this restaurant will not be so "touristy" after all. We managed our way to the front where we put our name in. We were told it would be about a forty minute wait. While waiting we watched as servers brought out other guests dishes, noticing how appetizing everything looked. We were still in shock. Tasty has made its way into Hershey PA, and we have landed at Houlihans ! Houlihans is a modern restaurant and I believe they are actually a smaller chain. When we made it into Hershey it was one of the first places we seen, right across from the Hershey Museum. First we ventured our way through the museum, and then did the taste tour where you make your own chocolate birds nest. After eating our weight in chocolate we walked across to have an early dinner. We arrived around 430 p.m. and the restaurant was not busy yet, to our surprise. We we’re greeted by friendly and helpful staff and also noticed it was time for their happy hour! On the happy hour menu you will find small discounted appetizers, and one of my favorites happened to be listed, chicken lettuce cups! The lettuce cups were very good, and brought out fast. It was a special day! Our anniversary as a couple! Seth surprised me by taking us out to dinner at the Black Point. The black point is an upscale steak house located in the Short North of Columbus. After talking about how much I wanted to go every time we were in the area, I was very excited. He set up reservations for us for 6 p.m. and we arrived early. We decided to wait for our table to be ready and sat at the bar for a few minutes before the hostess seated us. When brought to our table I noticed the restaurant had left us a small tea light surrounded by beautiful rose petals and a small card that said Happy Anniversary on it. How thoughtful! Hello, fellow Tasty readers! We are going down town to Columbus Ohio's  Superchef's Breakfast & More As some of you may know, I am a huge pancake lover. If it's super unhealthy for you, it's probably right up my alley. So naturally I found myself here checking out their goodies. We went around 10 a.m. on a Saturday to this hip little restaurant and found parking on the street surprisingly quickly. We rushed in to be told we would have to wait for the next available table to open. (darn) We gave them our number, and we were told we would get a text when they were ready for us. The place was kind of small, and busy, so it was loud. We decided we would just wait in the car.  After waiting about twenty minutes our phone alerted us they were ready. We will keep this one short and sweet! Do-Rite Donuts , found in Chicago We stumbled into Do-Rite in a hurry, as this was sadly our last day in Chicago. I sent Seth in and he grabbed us a couple and hurried back to our car. We we’re sad to be headed home, but the donuts definitely brought us a little bit of cheer! As for me, he got me the Pistachio. It had a good flavor, but since we did not get in until later in the day you could tell they were not as fresh as they probably usually are. The texture was my favorite part, they were both cake donuts, and oh so crumbly. Seth picked out a chocolate covered cake donut, and it was good as well.  We hope to go back some day in the future and try out more of their donuts earlier in the day!
