Hershey Pantry is not a Nancy

Also during our time in Hershey, we decided to have breakfast before heading back home. We wound up at the Hershey Pantry.

When I first read the name of the restaurant, I did not think it was going to be that great. I say that because it just seems like the name of a tourist trap. I'm sure you all get what I'm saying. No? Okay. Moving forward.

Upon reaching our destination, we found the place to be swarming with people. It was PACKED.

We both looked at each other in surprise. Maybe this restaurant will not be so "touristy" after all. We managed our way to the front where we put our name in. We were told it would be about a forty minute wait. While waiting we watched as servers brought out other guests dishes, noticing how appetizing everything looked.

We were still in shock.

After waiting, we were seated at a cute little table and handed the menu's. The menu is quaint, yet seems to offer something for everyone at the same time.

As for me, I decided to go with eggs with toast. I also added two buttermilk pancakes.

My food was delicious. Everything came out hot and fresh. The pancakes were fluffy and fulfilling. I'm picky when it comes to how my eggs are cooked, and they even cooked them to my liking. For me, I like to have yolk and went with my eggs as over medium. At previous restaurants I have ordered eggs over medium and them be slightly under cooked near the yolk. The eggs from Hershey pantry were the perfect balance.

Seth also ordered, he had eggs, bacon, and fried potatoes. He said everything of his was also hot and fresh! We were delighted.

Lastly, we ordered a cinnamon roll.

A giant cinnamon roll.

It was also delicious.

We could not believe how we had judged the place before going and giving it a chance. So just remember to keep an open mind when browsing for your next restaurant, you never know what you may find!

Thank you Hershey PA for the chocolate, and the amazing breakfast from Hershey Pantry!

Tasty~

Roosters, it's an Ohio thing!

We are so proud to be from Ohio for so many reasons, and Roosters being one of them!  Roosters is a restaurant that only 'Ohioans' or Ohio visitors know about. It's not a five star fancy schmansy restaurant, just a tasty and fun place to eat at on a weekend or after a long days work. The famous slogan really speaks for itself "A fun, casual, joint", but it doesn't happen to mention the delicious food they have available!  We are regular Rooster customers, we usually go a couple of times a month. We usually stick with our favorites from the menu, but you really can't go wrong with anything they have to offer. Whether it's the loaded nachos, a burger, or their tender boneless wings dipped in your choice of TOP OF THE LINE wing sauce, you wont be disappointed. Most of the time we go with the boneless wings drenched in tangy sweet Thai chili sauce. The quality of the meat is unbeatable, but the big kicker for us is the sauce. The sweet...

Picklesburgh!

Pittsburgh, PA is not only a fun city to visit, but they have one of most unique traditions of many, the Picklesburgh pickle festival!! We are huge fans of pickles, and we had a blast on previous travels to Pittsburgh, so this event was perfect for us! In this particular post we are going to be telling you about all of our delicious encounters of Picklesburgh. Picklesburgh has everything pickles! Name it and most likely they have it. Anything from pickle brine chicken, pickle soda, to even pickle moonshine, and pickle cupcakes. We were lucky enough to try a good handful of these pickled creations. When we first arrived in Pittsburgh we kept our eyes peeled for the giant pickle floating in the sky! It was surely there floating above all of the delicious pickle stands and happy festival goers. It had a very fun feel being there because of the fact that it is all located on the famous Roberto Clement Bridge. Our first goal when we arrived was getting a one of a kind selfie with t...

Screendoor, What Mo' Could'ya Ask Fo'

On our Oregon vacation and exploration, we headed out to a specific well known location for breakfast. Screendoor Much like many old fashion restaurants, Screendoor in Portland Oregon is extremely popular. The vibe of the restaurant is very positive, and the decor and atmosphere is warm and makes you feel at home. The lighting of the restaurant is very soft on a beautiful autumn Portland morning, and nothing goes better with a crisp cool fall day than delicious breakfast. We browsed the simple menu, and selected our meals quickly. We had a big day ahead of us. Seth opted for their famous chicken and waffle dish, while I on the other hand went with the Texas Veggie Migas. (I can't ever pass up a good Mexican classic) Chicken and Waffles The presentation of the dish was impressive, the orange peal on top of the portions of breakfast goodness was a gorgeous touch. The chicken was absolutely homemade, hand breaded, and cooked to perfection.  The flavor of the ch...
