Roosters, it's an Ohio thing!

We are so proud to be from Ohio for so many reasons, and Roosters being one of them!  Roosters is a restaurant that only 'Ohioans' or Ohio visitors know about. It's not a five star fancy schmansy restaurant, just a tasty and fun place to eat at on a weekend or after a long days work. The famous slogan really speaks for itself "A fun, casual, joint", but it doesn't happen to mention the delicious food they have available!  We are regular Rooster customers, we usually go a couple of times a month. We usually stick with our favorites from the menu, but you really can't go wrong with anything they have to offer. Whether it's the loaded nachos, a burger, or their tender boneless wings dipped in your choice of TOP OF THE LINE wing sauce, you wont be disappointed. Picklesburgh!

Pittsburgh, PA is not only a fun city to visit, but they have one of most unique traditions of many, the Picklesburgh pickle festival!! We are huge fans of pickles, and we had a blast on previous travels to Pittsburgh, so this event was perfect for us! In this particular post we are going to be telling you about all of our delicious encounters of Picklesburgh. Picklesburgh has everything pickles! Name it and most likely they have it. Anything from pickle brine chicken, pickle soda, to even pickle moonshine, and pickle cupcakes. We were lucky enough to try a good handful of these pickled creations. When we first arrived in Pittsburgh we kept our eyes peeled for the giant pickle floating in the sky! It was surely there floating above all of the delicious pickle stands and happy festival goers. Screendoor, What Mo' Could'ya Ask Fo'

On our Oregon vacation and exploration, we headed out to a specific well known location for breakfast. Screendoor Much like many old fashion restaurants, Screendoor in Portland Oregon is extremely popular. The vibe of the restaurant is very positive, and the decor and atmosphere is warm and makes you feel at home. The lighting of the restaurant is very soft on a beautiful autumn Portland morning, and nothing goes better with a crisp cool fall day than delicious breakfast. We browsed the simple menu, and selected our meals quickly. We had a big day ahead of us. Seth opted for their famous chicken and waffle dish, while I on the other hand went with the Texas Veggie Migas. (I can't ever pass up a good Mexican classic) Chicken and Waffles The presentation of the dish was impressive, the orange peal on top of the portions of breakfast goodness was a gorgeous touch.
