Tea-DO, really is a must do!

On our trip to Salem, we also stopped in Boston MA. And in Boston you will find a very small Chinatown. And in that Chinatown, you will find Tea-Do. 

Whenever we get the chance, we love to stop in and try small things in every larger cities Chinatown. We were fortunate enough to make it to the one in Boston. I had always wanted to try bubble tea, especially after it has gotten so much hype lately on the web. And I thought to myself, why not now?



Tea-do offers a large variety of specialty drinks for everyone. They are also open late, which was surprising to us because most of that area closed somewhat early. The restaurant is also on the smaller side, and we hear the locals love to come here and hangout. With that being said the place can fill up rather quickly. It's a fast paced environment and you feel like you don't have time to spare. 

Since it was my first time ever ordering bubble tea, I basically had no idea what it was I was trying to find, or trying to order. The menu is rather big. I had trouble picking what I thought I would like. The people working behind the counter tried to help, but they were rushing taking others orders. 

After finally deciding on something they started making our drinks. We waited only a minute before we received our drinks. This city really does move fast. I went with the Thai milk tea, and Seth opted for the passion fruit tea.


We learned that bubble tea comes with cool large straws so that the 'bubbles' at the bottom can come up and be enjoyed. The bubbles are made from tapioca and are really fun. After trying our drinks, we decided we both made good choices. I took a sip from Seth's and thought to myself I'm glad I didn't go with something fruity, it was good- but not my cup of tea! *Slaps knee* 

In all seriousness, they both were very good and we enjoyed every drop. 


After trying our first bubble tea, I decided I would like to go back and try more! Look forward to more bubbles coming your way. Thanks Tea-Do for the fun experience!

Picklesburgh!

Pittsburgh, PA is not only a fun city to visit, but they have one of most unique traditions of many, the Picklesburgh pickle festival!! We are huge fans of pickles, and we had a blast on previous travels to Pittsburgh, so this event was perfect for us! In this particular post we are going to be telling you about all of our delicious encounters of Picklesburgh. Picklesburgh has everything pickles! Name it and most likely they have it. Screendoor, What Mo' Could'ya Ask Fo'

On our Oregon vacation and exploration, we headed out to a specific well known location for breakfast. Screendoor Much like many old fashion restaurants, Screendoor in Portland Oregon is extremely popular. The vibe of the restaurant is very positive, and the decor and atmosphere is warm and makes you feel at home. The lighting of the restaurant is very soft on a beautiful autumn Portland morning, and nothing goes better with a crisp cool fall day than delicious breakfast. We browsed the simple menu, and selected our meals quickly. We had a big day ahead of us. Seth opted for their famous chicken and waffle dish, while I on the other hand went with the Texas Veggie Migas.
