Noodlecat's Dream Buns

If you're strolling through downtown Cleveland we hope you stumble into Noodlecat.

Located on Euclid Ave, you will be surrounded by a few different popular restaurants, don't be shy! Try them all! From our experience you can't go wrong.

Noodlecat serves up three main options noodles, buns, and veggies. Unfortunately we did not come for noodles on this visit, we came for the Japanese Steam Buns!

We picked 2 of the 5 bun options they had available and went with the J-fried Chicken bun and the Fresh bacon bun. These Buns are Japanese white bread sandwiches each topped with lettuce and pickle.

For the J-fried Chicken Bun, this soft steam bun has a piece of fried chicken, sweet and spicy power ketchup. At first bite you're in love. The fresh steam buns are amazing. The chicken was crispy, tangy, and delicious but it was no match for the next bun that we tried!

The Fresh Bacon Bun was filled with a delicious slice of lightly smoked, sugar cured BBQ pork belly. The soft bun that leads your teeth into that tender crispy BBQ coated pork belly was phenomenal. It was a special type of dish that you just want to keep eating. This sandwich may be small but the flavors are huge!

We are hoping to get to try Noodlecat again in the future, we spotted the Ramen dishes they offer being brought to other guests, and they looked and smelled great!

Roosters, it's an Ohio thing!

We are so proud to be from Ohio for so many reasons, and Roosters being one of them! Roosters is a restaurant that only 'Ohioans' or Ohio visitors know about. It's not a five star fancy schmansy restaurant, just a tasty and fun place to eat at on a weekend or after a long days work. The famous slogan really speaks for itself "A fun, casual, joint", but it doesn't happen to mention the delicious food they have available! We are regular Rooster customers, we usually go a couple of times a month. We usually stick with our favorites from the menu, but you really can't go wrong with anything they have to offer. Whether it's the loaded nachos, a burger, or their tender boneless wings dipped in your choice of TOP OF THE LINE wing sauce, you wont be disappointed. Being Ohio natives we were happy to find an independent restaurant near us. It had Great decor, and the restaurant itself had a visually fun and hip/modern look (no surprise here.. most small businesses take this role). The lighting was at a relaxing level, they placed numbers above the tables to try and give a unique look. Enough about the decor though, lets move on to the important Tids! First things first, drink options. They had a small variety of drinks offering the usual selections - Soda, Water, Tea, O-J, Milk. The Ale House May be Good for Whatever Ails You

All of you Ohio natives out there, if you havent been to Ale house 1890 in Lancaster Ohio you are definitely missing out. They have wonderful hamburgers and so many to menu items to choose from! All of these burgers are specially made with their own selection of fresh ingredients. They definitely know their way around a burger! They also have new specials pretty frequently such as fried macoroni! (See review for fried Macoroni below!) so go in and don't miss them! The first bite I took I could immediately taste the sweetness of marmalade and the grilled taste of the patty which collided with each other creating a wonderful taste combination.
