Wings Galore

We will begin this review with one of our favorite bar food favorites, chicken wings!

We always enjoy a fun trip to any of these great wing joints we have in Ohio. We thought we would give a detailed review on 3 of the biggest wing restaurants Ohio (and some other states) has to offer! Our three delicious candidates are, Buffalo Wild Wings, Roosters, and Buffalo Wings and Rings.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings, or "B-dubs" as people like to call it, is most likely the most popular wing joint in America, and probably the most successful. Its a fun place to enjoy food, drinks, and sports. They also have free tablet games for anyone who is into that kind of thing (we enjoy the trivia game). They have a decent sized menu with a variety of dishes, and frequently add new menu items which is always nice.

Surprisingly enough, b-dubs is actually not our favorite wing place when it comes to specifically just wings. We usually stick to boneless wings and for the price of what you pay for their wings, it seems a little too high in our opinion. Also their meat is not the best quality. Every time we get the boneless wings at B-Dubs they are strange in texture, and don't seem to be real white meat.

With that being said, the sauces at b-dubs are great which almost makes up for it. The Asian Zing is a very good spin on a sweet Thai chili sauce, which isn't over the top spicy, but does have a lot of flavor. The Thai Curry is also one of our favorites, its spicy, strong, and flavorful if you're on the adventurous side, it almost tastes like a spicy tikka misala (Indian flavor).

With the wings not being our favorite, we usually get a sampler with extra sides and appetizers to fulfill our bellies. If it were up to us, we would not go here for just wings themselves.

Buffalo Wings And Rings

Buffalo Wings and Rings is another fun wing place for sports and food. We are actually new to this particular restaurant. We've only been there a few times, but we were extremely satisfied each time.

BWAR is greatly appreciated by us for the unique variety of the menu and sauce selection. The quality of their meat was also something we loved, and feel is the most important factor at a wing joint. The wings have always been served to us fresh. They are also served in a heaping bowl of sauce which is always great. (THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN AN SAUCE-LESS WING!!!!)

There are many great sauce choices that caught us by surprise, such as the Cool Wasabi. This particular sauce is a great addition to any wing, it was a nice cool sauce with a slight zing. We also tried the buffalo which was just as amazing.

The most amazing and unique thing about BWAR is the spice level concept for the sauces. Whether you're a fan of spicy or mild, you can try any sauce on the menu at any spice level you might be comfortable with! This is not offered at the other two restaurants we are comparing.

Rooster's

We've saved the best for last! Very well known by us Ohioans, Roosters is our favorite wing place we've ever had!!! The wing quality is a 10, the meat is fresh, and the sauces are unbeatable.

The sweet Thai Chili and Carolina Gold sauces are the best by far (in our opinion)! We love the white meat, and great texture that wings should have. The fresh sizzle of wings being brought to the table at Roosters is awesome. We could order just wings here and be completely satisfied. There is no need for extra's, although Rooster's does have some of the best apps!

The menu has something for everyone, and everything we have tried is delicious. The fried chicken sandwich is also another delicious option, the chicken is so juicy and flavorful that we didn't need a single drop of any condiment added to this sandwich. (IMPRESSIVE).

We have only great things to say about Rooster's. If you've never tried it we highly recommend it. It's a great place for a drink and food during a football game or a weekend night out!

And that is all for our lengthy review of wings! Hope you all enjoyed! Comment below with your favorite wing place!

Till next time, Tasty!

Bourbon, burgers, and Bar Louie!

This restaurant may sound familiar to some. We've eaten here before and have never been disappointed with the food or service. Stop into Bar Louie for some great food and and a great late night type of atmosphere, or maybe just after doing a little shopping in the mall.                   Bourbon Bacon Burger Just by looking at the special limited time menu of this burger and many other special sandwiches alike, we knew this burger would be incredibly flavorful. A beautifully cooked meat patty deserves nothing better than a beautifully crafted sauce and delcious toppings to back them up. A perfect meat patty topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, a delcious bourbon sauce and a nice stack of fried onion straws... It's making my mouth water just thinking about it... Unsurprisingly, the look of the burger was astonishing. The juicy patty had a decent portion of crispy onion straws that make the presentation really stick out. The first bite ...

Noodlecat's Dream Buns

If you're strolling through downtown Cleveland we hope you stumble into Noodlecat . Located on Euclid Ave, you will be surrounded by a few different popular restaurants, don't be shy! Try them all! From our experience you can't go wrong. Noodlecat serves up three main options noodles, buns, and veggies. Unfortunately we did not come for noodles on this visit, we came for the Japanese Steam Buns! We picked 2 of the 5 bun options they had available and went with the J-fried Chicken bun and the Fresh bacon bun. These Buns are Japanese white bread sandwiches each topped with lettuce and pickle. For the J-fried Chicken Bun, this soft steam bun has a piece of fried chicken, sweet and spicy power ketchup. At first bite you're in love. The fresh steam buns are amazing. The chicken was crispy, tangy, and delicious but it was no match for the next bun that we tried! The Fresh Bacon Bun was filled with a delicious slice of lightly smoked, sugar ...

Screendoor, What Mo' Could'ya Ask Fo'

On our Oregon vacation and exploration, we headed out to a specific well known location for breakfast. Screendoor Much like many old fashion restaurants, Screendoor in Portland Oregon is extremely popular. The vibe of the restaurant is very positive, and the decor and atmosphere is warm and makes you feel at home. The lighting of the restaurant is very soft on a beautiful autumn Portland morning, and nothing goes better with a crisp cool fall day than delicious breakfast. We browsed the simple menu, and selected our meals quickly. We had a big day ahead of us. Seth opted for their famous chicken and waffle dish, while I on the other hand went with the Texas Veggie Migas. (I can't ever pass up a good Mexican classic) Chicken and Waffles The presentation of the dish was impressive, the orange peal on top of the portions of breakfast goodness was a gorgeous touch. The chicken was absolutely homemade, hand breaded, and cooked to perfection.  The flavor of the ch...
