Wings Galore

We will begin this review with one of our favorite bar food favorites, chicken wings! We always enjoy a fun trip to any of these great wing joints we have in Ohio. We thought we would give a detailed review on 3 of the biggest wing restaurants Ohio (and some other states) has to offer! Our three delicious candidates are, Buffalo Wild Wings, Roosters, and Buffalo Wings and Rings. Buffalo Wild Wings Buffalo Wild Wings, or "B-dubs" as people like to call it, is most likely the most popular wing joint in America, and probably the most successful. Its a fun place to enjoy food, drinks, and sports. They also have free tablet games for anyone who is into that kind of thing (we enjoy the trivia game). They have a decent sized menu with a variety of dishes, and frequently add new menu items which is always nice. Surprisingly enough, b-dubs is actually not our favorite wing place when it comes to specifically just wings. We usually stick to boneless wings and for the

Fireside Pizza

In our home state of Ohio, while driving to our vacation destination towards Kentucky, we were pleased to stop and enjoy a freshly baked pizza in Cincinnati. Fireside Pizza is a small brick oven style pizza restaurant in the building of what used to be an actual firehouse. It's a really decorative and fun place to eat. They keep the big sliding doors open for a breath of fresh air while you enjoy your pie! All of the pizzas are made with fresh dough in a beautiful brick oven, and topped with only the best toppings and sauces. We both decided on the most popular item on the Fireside menu which is called the "Redlegger Pizza". This pizza is topped with fresh mozzarella, red sauce, red bell peppers, red onions, and pepperoni. It's fired up until the crust is perfectly blackened and bubbly! It was such a great surprise tasting this pizza. The appearance of the pizza alone really reeled us in. As you can imagine... it was so tasty... I m

Geno's Steaks

Philadelphia is one fun city to visit. We had always wanted to see the Rocky steps, but we mainly had our taste buds set on snatching a famous Philly cheese steak from the very well known Geno's Steaks. We arrived in Philly at around 11pm and finally made it Geno's. The building and lights on the buildings of Philidelphia really come alive and night, and Genos is noticeably lit with spectacular colored lights. It was definitely a beautifully decorated building that you must see at night if you happen to go in the future. It was not really a sit down restaurant, but more of walk up window serve kind of deal. There are tables available if you don't want to eat on the go which is what we did. We ordered one cheese steak with cheese whiz and grilled onions and one with onions and provolone. The appearance was actually pretty appetizing. Simple but very tasty looking. It was a decent tasting sandwich overall. Nothing completely out of this world, but

The Bagel Store, where magical bagels live

Hello everyone! Tasty is taking you to the streets of New York! We stumbled upon this little gem, and HAD to get us a bagel.  The bagel store is very small, and can be found in Brooklyn. They offer a variety of bagels and toppings, breakfast sandwiches, other sandwiches, small items, and drinks. There is no seating available, and the place was packed when we stopped in. There was minimal wait time to receive our order. We went with the  Rainbow bagel with birthday cake cream cheese. Yes, you read that correctly, birthday cake cream cheese.  We only ordered one bagel to share, and I'm glad that we did. This bagel was very sweet. Check out the beautiful colors, and fun confetti icing! Okay, we are hooked just on how beautiful these bagels are!  But, the bagels are not only just about looks, they are great in taste. We loved it. I'm proud to say we finally enjoyed a NY bagel. I did a happy dance.  Until you read again, yours truly, Ta

Capri Deep Dish

We have made it clear in many of our blog posts that pizza is one of our favorites anytime we go to visit any part of the world we've never been. We love pizza, but we also love DEEP DISH PIZZA!!! I'm sure you are probably assuming we are talking about Chicago's deep dish pizza.... Nope. We had the best deep dish pizza in Wisconsin. We had a long drive back after an amazing trip in Milwaukee and other areas of Wisconsin. Just to cure our trip ending blues before the long ride home, we thought it would be nice to try a delicious pizza pie from a little joint called Capri Di Nuovo.  On arrival we noticed the building had tomatoes growing on the outside of it which we thought was an interesting look. The building wasn't the biggest building in the world but no matter, it was very clean and very inviting on an early afternoon day. We had trouble deciding which specific pizza we wanted to order when we spotted the deep dish. We went for a half pepperoni

A Twist of Leona

Hello! Tasty Tidbitt is back again for another mouth watering food review! This time we are taking you to A Twist of Leona ! This is a food truck that runs through Akron and the Cleveland area of Ohio. We went to the Harry Potter Festival in Akron, Ohio to have a good time and get some food of course, and we discovered this food truck gem! When we first walked by the Leona truck, we noticed happy customers leaving the truck window with extremely tall loaded burgers and chicken sandwiches. It was all very eye catching so we glanced at the menu and hunger took over from there! We got both a cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich. The cheeseburger we ordered was titled "The Rubber City". It consisted of 2 big ground beef patties, plenty of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle and special sauce. As we said earlier, these sandwiches are tall and beautiful, and let me tell you... they are also DELICIOUS. The first bite had us immediately hooked. The burger was so f
