A Twist of Leona

Hello! Tasty Tidbitt is back again for another mouth watering food review! This time we are taking you to A Twist of Leona! This is a food truck that runs through Akron and the Cleveland area of Ohio. We went to the Harry Potter Festival in Akron, Ohio to have a good time and get some food of course, and we discovered this food truck gem!

When we first walked by the Leona truck, we noticed happy customers leaving the truck window with extremely tall loaded burgers and chicken sandwiches. It was all very eye catching so we glanced at the menu and hunger took over from there!

We got both a cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich. The cheeseburger we ordered was titled "The Rubber City". It consisted of 2 big ground beef patties, plenty of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle and special sauce. As we said earlier, these sandwiches are tall and beautiful, and let me tell you... they are also DELICIOUS. The first bite had us immediately hooked. The burger was so full of flavor, not over cooked, seasoned perfectly and the toppings tasted fresh from the garden! The special sauce was a nice bonus that gave it an extra bit of creamy flavor. The most amazing thing to us about the Rubber City burger was the freshness and juiciness!

The Chicken Sandwich which is called the "Route 8 Fried Chicken Sandwich", was just as amazing as the burger if not better. This sandwich consists of two pieces of fresh fried chicken breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, and sauce on a soft bun. Easily one of the most high quality chicken sandwiches we've ever tasted. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and tender. Bacon always goes good with lettuce and tomato but it went INCREDIBLY well with the fried chicken. You get a large amount of food on top of it already being delicious so it was worth every penny! Thank you Twist of Leona for the awesome food!

A Twist of Leona really knocks it out of the park. If you happen to ever see their truck serving near you, we definitely recommend it! This has been another Tasty Tidbitt review!

Roosters, it's an Ohio thing!

We are so proud to be from Ohio for so many reasons, and Roosters being one of them!  Roosters is a restaurant that only 'Ohioans' or Ohio visitors know about. It's not a five star fancy schmansy restaurant, just a tasty and fun place to eat at on a weekend or after a long days work. The famous slogan really speaks for itself "A fun, casual, joint", but it doesn't happen to mention the delicious food they have available!  We are regular Rooster customers, we usually go a couple of times a month. We usually stick with our favorites from the menu, but you really can't go wrong with anything they have to offer. Whether it's the loaded nachos, a burger, or their tender boneless wings dipped in your choice of TOP OF THE LINE wing sauce, you wont be disappointed. Most of the time we go with the boneless wings drenched in tangy sweet Thai chili sauce. The quality of the meat is unbeatable, but the big kicker for us is the sauce. The sweet

Breakfast Time at Table 1

Being Ohio natives we were happy to find an independent restaurant near us. It had Great decor, and the restaurant itself had a visually fun and hip/modern look (no surprise here.. most small businesses take this role). The lighting was at a relaxing level, they placed numbers above the tables to try and give a unique look. Enough about the decor though, lets move on to the important Tids! First things first, drink options. They had a small variety of drinks offering the usual selections - Soda, Water, Tea, O-J, Milk. We decided on getting the Cola, because we had a long drive ahead - we were headed for Amish Country in Millersburg OH. (Blog soon to come..) Our server seemed to be lacking some energy that day as well, I mean it was Saturday. She brought our drinks and we were surprised to see more than a simple cup, Coca-cola served to you in a jar! Enough mumbo about the drinks though, onward to the main course. We both opted for The eggs Benedict. We were unsure o

The Ale House May be Good for Whatever Ails You

All of you Ohio natives out there, if you havent been to Ale house 1890 in Lancaster Ohio you are definitely missing out. They have wonderful hamburgers and so many to menu items to choose from! All of these burgers are specially made with their own selection of fresh ingredients. They definitely know their way around a burger! They also have new specials  pretty frequently such as fried macoroni! (See review for fried Macoroni below!) so go in and don't miss them! Ale House 1890 Our first pick from the menu was the Barnyard Burger.  Barnyard Burger This burger was an absolute taste masterpiece! The first bite I took I could immediately taste the sweetness of marmalade and the grilled taste of the patty which collided with each other creating a  wonderful taste combination. The garlic aoli was a nice touch to the burger as well, better than mayonnaise if you ask me! Also the micro greens was a great bonus to an already delcious sandwich. And what is better on a b
