IN-N-OUT

I'm sure you have all heard of this little hamburger place, called In-N-Out

As a food lover, and Ohioan, I dreamed of the day I would finally get the chance to chow down on a double- double.

And that day had finally arrived. We went to In-N-Out on our honeymoon trip as well while in Vegas. You can say we ate a lot on this trip (not any different than all of our trips though, TBH).

When we spotted In-N-Out, after traveling there by foot, we ran inside. Not of surprise, the place was packed with people. There was a giant line we had to wait in, but it did go very fast!

We glanced over the menu. Knowing we each wanted to try the burgers and fries, we ordered quickly. We both ordered the same thing- a double-double animal style and fries also animal style.

Now if you are wondering, "What is Animal Style exactly?" let me answer that for you.

The regular double double (non-animal style) includes the following- a toasty bun, two patties, two slices of cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce, and In-N-Out's special recipe spread (sauce).

Animal style is where they will add pickle, EXTRA  spread, AND grilled onions.
Now, who would want to pass on that? Not us!

The burgers came out wrapped in cute logo paper, and they were out before we knew it. Even with the chaos that surrounded us, the staff was very quick.

Upon first bite, I knew I was in love.

This was definitely one of the best "fast food" burgers I have had. I loved their special sauce, and being a onion lover, I was amazed they added extra grilled onion as well! I would not say it is the best burger out of all burgers I have had, but comparing fast food, I would say it is in the top.

As for the fries, they are delicious as well. As I mentioned previously, we ordered them animal style as well. They do not skimp when it comes to adding the special spread, so if you are unsure of the sauce I would recommend getting a small side of it.

The sauce was great though.

We loved In-N-Out and I understand all of the hype it gets. I would love to go back again when we are out West! Thanks In-N-Out for for-filling my hopes and dreams about the double-double.

Until our next Tasty adventure.

Bourbon, burgers, and Bar Louie!

This restaurant may sound familiar to some. We've eaten here before and have never been disappointed with the food or service. Stop into Bar Louie for some great food and and a great late night type of atmosphere, or maybe just after doing a little shopping in the mall.                   Bourbon Bacon Burger Just by looking at the special limited time menu of this burger and many other special sandwiches alike, we knew this burger would be incredibly flavorful. A beautifully cooked meat patty deserves nothing better than a beautifully crafted sauce and delcious toppings to back them up. A perfect meat patty topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, a delcious bourbon sauce and a nice stack of fried onion straws... It's making my mouth water just thinking about it... Unsurprisingly, the look of the burger was astonishing. The juicy patty had a decent portion of crispy onion straws that make the presentation really stick out. The first bite ...

Noodlecat's Dream Buns

If you're strolling through downtown Cleveland we hope you stumble into Noodlecat . Located on Euclid Ave, you will be surrounded by a few different popular restaurants, don't be shy! Try them all! From our experience you can't go wrong. Noodlecat serves up three main options noodles, buns, and veggies. Unfortunately we did not come for noodles on this visit, we came for the Japanese Steam Buns! We picked 2 of the 5 bun options they had available and went with the J-fried Chicken bun and the Fresh bacon bun. These Buns are Japanese white bread sandwiches each topped with lettuce and pickle. For the J-fried Chicken Bun, this soft steam bun has a piece of fried chicken, sweet and spicy power ketchup. At first bite you're in love. The fresh steam buns are amazing. The chicken was crispy, tangy, and delicious but it was no match for the next bun that we tried! The Fresh Bacon Bun was filled with a delicious slice of lightly smoked, sugar ...

The Ale House May be Good for Whatever Ails You

All of you Ohio natives out there, if you havent been to Ale house 1890 in Lancaster Ohio you are definitely missing out. They have wonderful hamburgers and so many to menu items to choose from! All of these burgers are specially made with their own selection of fresh ingredients. They definitely know their way around a burger! They also have new specials  pretty frequently such as fried macoroni! (See review for fried Macoroni below!) so go in and don't miss them! Ale House 1890 Our first pick from the menu was the Barnyard Burger.  Barnyard Burger This burger was an absolute taste masterpiece! The first bite I took I could immediately taste the sweetness of marmalade and the grilled taste of the patty which collided with each other creating a  wonderful taste combination. The garlic aoli was a nice touch to the burger as well, better than mayonnaise if you ask me! Also the micro greens was a great bonus to an already delcious sandwich. And what is bet...
