Pizza Barn's 2 FEET of AWESOME

Upon our most recent visit to New York, I'm sure you can guess what we had to try.

Pizza

Browsing the best places to have pizza in NY can be kind of time consuming. Everyone that has been in NY has their personal favorite. So I thought to myself, we have tried many different pizza places in NY already, and they are all usually pretty good. So, why not look for something different. Something whimsical.

I found Pizza Barn.

When I came across this restaurant on Pinterest I was like, okay it is definitely going on our itinerary. After adding it to the list, and making our hectic drive to NY, we finally made it to Yonkers.

Now, don't be dismayed by the outside of the building. What you find on the inside is what counts.

We walked inside to find there was a few people waiting to get their food to go, and even some people waiting for a table to open so they could eat inside. We decided we would just take ours with us. We were in a hurry. (what else is new)

We ordered the two foot slice of cheese.

It was not long before our name was called to come grab our food. We took it out to the car (Big booty Judy) only to find that the pizza box was just entirely too big to try to hold on my lap. Also it was summer and very hot that day.

We noticed there was a small park nearby and took our loot to the bleachers and enjoyed the sun!

Look at this masterpiece.

It was fun doing different poses with the giant slice and we enjoyed the pizza itself afterward. Although I would not say this is the best tasting pizza in NY, I would say it is a fun must do when you are in that area. Yonkers is above Manhattan and the typical go-to places, but it is worth the drive.

Roosters, it's an Ohio thing!

We are so proud to be from Ohio for so many reasons, and Roosters being one of them! Roosters is a restaurant that only 'Ohioans' or Ohio visitors know about. It's not a five star fancy schmansy restaurant, just a tasty and fun place to eat at on a weekend or after a long days work. The Ale House May be Good for Whatever Ails You

All of you Ohio natives out there, if you havent been to Ale house 1890 in Lancaster Ohio you are definitely missing out. They have wonderful hamburgers and so many to menu items to choose from! All of these burgers are specially made with their own selection of fresh ingredients. They definitely know their way around a burger! They also have new specials pretty frequently such as fried macoroni! (See review for fried Macoroni below!) so go in and don't miss them! The first bite I took I could immediately taste the sweetness of marmalade and the grilled taste of the patty which collided with each other creating a wonderful taste combination. Pearly's Beach Eats

On our recent vacation to Florida, we found some decent restaurants that we thought would be a great additions to our blog. We came across Pearly's Beach Eats online and we were immediately intrigued. After swimming with manatees we finally worked up an appetite so we stopped at Pearly's for lunch. Pearly's is a small restaurant with a unique menu that offers Mexican, American and seafood. It was a very fun place to eat, they have outdoor seating in the shade with surfboard tables! It was a great atmosphere to have beach themed food. Fish Sandwich The fish sandwich at Pearly's is out of this world! You have the choice to have your fresh Cobia fish blackened or fried, we went with the fried. The sandwich consists of a fresh piece of cobia, lettuce, tomato, and tarter sauce on a grilled bun.
