Pizza Barn's 2 FEET of AWESOME

Upon our most recent visit to New York, I'm sure you can guess what we had to try.

Browsing the best places to have pizza in NY can be kind of time consuming. Everyone that has been in NY has their personal favorite. So I thought to myself, we have tried many different pizza places in NY already, and they are all usually pretty good. So, why not look for something different. Something whimsical.

I found Pizza Barn.

When I came across this restaurant on Pinterest I was like, okay it is definitely going on our itinerary. After adding it to the list, and making our hectic drive to NY, we finally made it to Yonkers.

Now, don't be dismayed by the outside of the building. What you find on the inside is what counts.

We walked inside to find there was a few people waiting to get their food to go, and even some people waiting for a table to open so they could eat inside. We decided we would just take ours with us. We were in a hurry. (what else is new)

We ordered the two foot slice of cheese.

It was not long before our name was called to come grab our food. We took it out to the car (Big booty Judy) only to find that the pizza box was just entirely too big to try to hold on my lap. Also it was summer and very hot that day.

We noticed there was a small park nearby and took our loot to the bleachers and enjoyed the sun!

Look at this masterpiece.

It was fun doing different poses with the giant slice and we enjoyed the pizza itself afterward. Although I would not say this is the best tasting pizza in NY, I would say it is a fun must do when you are in that area. Yonkers is above Manhattan and the typical go-to places, but it is worth the drive.

Bourbon, burgers, and Bar Louie!

This restaurant may sound familiar to some. We've eaten here before and have never been disappointed with the food or service. Stop into Bar Louie for some great food and and a great late night type of atmosphere, or maybe just after doing a little shopping in the mall. Bourbon Bacon Burger Just by looking at the special limited time menu of this burger and many other special sandwiches alike, we knew this burger would be incredibly flavorful. A beautifully cooked meat patty deserves nothing better than a beautifully crafted sauce and delcious toppings to back them up. A perfect meat patty topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, a delcious bourbon sauce and a nice stack of fried onion straws... It's making my mouth water just thinking about it... Roosters, it's an Ohio thing!

We are so proud to be from Ohio for so many reasons, and Roosters being one of them! Roosters is a restaurant that only 'Ohioans' or Ohio visitors know about. It's not a five star fancy schmansy restaurant, just a tasty and fun place to eat at on a weekend or after a long days work. The famous slogan really speaks for itself "A fun, casual, joint", but it doesn't happen to mention the delicious food they have available! We are regular Rooster customers, we usually go a couple of times a month. We usually stick with our favorites from the menu, but you really can't go wrong with anything they have to offer. Whether it's the loaded nachos, a burger, or their tender boneless wings dipped in your choice of TOP OF THE LINE wing sauce, you wont be disappointed. Most of the time we go with the boneless wings drenched in tangy sweet Thai chili sauce. The quality of the meat is unbeatable, but the big kicker for us is the sauce. The sweet...

Noodlecat's Dream Buns

If you're strolling through downtown Cleveland we hope you stumble into Noodlecat . Located on Euclid Ave, you will be surrounded by a few different popular restaurants, don't be shy! Try them all! From our experience you can't go wrong. Noodlecat serves up three main options noodles, buns, and veggies. Unfortunately we did not come for noodles on this visit, we came for the Japanese Steam Buns! We picked 2 of the 5 bun options they had available and went with the J-fried Chicken bun and the Fresh bacon bun. These Buns are Japanese white bread sandwiches each topped with lettuce and pickle. For the J-fried Chicken Bun, this soft steam bun has a piece of fried chicken, sweet and spicy power ketchup. At first bite you're in love. The fresh steam buns are amazing.
