Mr. Bojangles

At the beginning of 2017 year we took a trip down to Clear water beach in Florida, and as we were on our way we seen a sign along the long stretch of highway for Bojangles.

Bojangles claimed to have famous chicken 'n biscuits, and we all know how much I do love chicken!
How could I possibly pass this place up.

The fast food restaurant is primarily on the East coast and has not made its way much further, so this post is a little different compared to our others. Bojangles is colorful in yellow and red, and looks much like any other fast food joint you would go to for a quick meal.

We ordered in the Drive-threw and both decided upon their chicken tender meal served with fries and a biscuit.

The tenders were fabulous.

The fries were fabulous.

The biscuit was to die for.

We both enjoyed every last crumb. They also offer a few different kinds of dipping sauce, and I went with the honey mustard. I love that instead of small sized packets, they give you a bigger round container of sauce. The sauce itself was also very good. I'm definitely a sauce person, and this was not to be missed.

Okay, back to the food, for real this time.

The tenders were all white meat, and did not seem to have any of that weird meat that some other fast food places do (not to mention any names...) As for the fries, they season them and we think it was a great idea. The french fries were rather plain but the seasoning gave them a much needed touch. And lastly, but not least, the biscuit- the holy grail. If i could send you a particle of my biscuit through the internet waves somehow, i wouldn't. It was way too good to share. It had a slightly crisp outer shell, but not too much to where it was hard. The inside was light and fluffy, and had a nice buttery taste.
Seriously, I've probably had a few dreams about this biscuit since then.

Tasty will definitely be back at Bojangles whenever we are near a location. Hopefully one day soon they will branch out and open more stores!

See ya later, food gators! (wait that didn't sound right)

See ya later, friends!

Roosters, it's an Ohio thing!

We are so proud to be from Ohio for so many reasons, and Roosters being one of them!  Roosters is a restaurant that only 'Ohioans' or Ohio visitors know about. It's not a five star fancy schmansy restaurant, just a tasty and fun place to eat at on a weekend or after a long days work. The famous slogan really speaks for itself "A fun, casual, joint", but it doesn't happen to mention the delicious food they have available!  We are regular Rooster customers, we usually go a couple of times a month. We usually stick with our favorites from the menu, but you really can't go wrong with anything they have to offer. Whether it's the loaded nachos, a burger, or their tender boneless wings dipped in your choice of TOP OF THE LINE wing sauce, you wont be disappointed. Most of the time we go with the boneless wings drenched in tangy sweet Thai chili sauce. The quality of the meat is unbeatable, but the big kicker for us is the sauce. The sweet...

The Ale House May be Good for Whatever Ails You

All of you Ohio natives out there, if you havent been to Ale house 1890 in Lancaster Ohio you are definitely missing out. They have wonderful hamburgers and so many to menu items to choose from! All of these burgers are specially made with their own selection of fresh ingredients. They definitely know their way around a burger! They also have new specials  pretty frequently such as fried macoroni! (See review for fried Macoroni below!) so go in and don't miss them! Ale House 1890 Our first pick from the menu was the Barnyard Burger.  Barnyard Burger This burger was an absolute taste masterpiece! The first bite I took I could immediately taste the sweetness of marmalade and the grilled taste of the patty which collided with each other creating a  wonderful taste combination. The garlic aoli was a nice touch to the burger as well, better than mayonnaise if you ask me! Also the micro greens was a great bonus to an already delcious sandwich. And what is bet...

Brunch @ Milk Tooth

On our long, 8 hour, never ending journey to Missouri a few weeks ago we decided to stop midway in Indianapolis and grab brunch. Our restaurant of choice was Milktooth. Located right outside of the big inner city.  Milktooth 534 Virginia Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46203   Upon first glance, you see its a modern Indy style restaurant. With cute seating outside on their small patio, and string lights strung generously, it came together nicely. It was already getting warm outside so we decided to be seated inside.  The inside was comfortable. As for seating, there was an option to sit at the "milk bar", or you could also sit at tables, but booths were unfortunately not an option.  The menu was small, which is usually a good sign. Restaurants can become overwhelmed if the menu is too big for them to handle.  Usually when we're tossed the menu we scan through quickly and find exactly what we were looking for, but we were unsure of ...
