Picklesburgh!

Pittsburgh, PA is not only a fun city to visit, but they have one of most unique traditions of many, the Picklesburgh pickle festival!! We are huge fans of pickles, and we had a blast on previous travels to Pittsburgh, so this event was perfect for us! In this particular post we are going to be telling you about all of our delicious encounters of Picklesburgh. Picklesburgh has everything pickles! Name it and most likely they have it. Anything from pickle brine chicken, pickle soda, to even pickle moonshine, and pickle cupcakes. We were lucky enough to try a good handful of these pickled creations. When we first arrived in Pittsburgh we kept our eyes peeled for the giant pickle floating in the sky! It was surely there floating above all of the delicious pickle stands and happy festival goers. It had a very fun feel being there because of the fact that it is all located on the famous Roberto Clement Bridge. Our first goal when we arrived was getting a one of a kind selfie with t

Pizza Barn's 2 FEET of AWESOME

Upon our most recent visit to New York, I'm sure you can guess what we had to try.  Pizza Browsing the best places to have pizza in NY can be kind of time consuming. Everyone that has been in NY has their personal favorite. So I thought to myself, we have tried many different pizza places in NY already, and they are all usually pretty good. So, why not look for something different. Something whimsical. I found Pizza Barn . When I came across this restaurant on Pinterest I was like, okay it is definitely going on our itinerary. After adding it to the list, and making our hectic drive to NY, we finally made it to Yonkers. Now, don't be dismayed by the outside of the building. What you find on the inside is what counts.  We walked inside to find there was a few people waiting to get their food to go, and even some people waiting for a table to open so they could eat inside. We decided we would just take ours with us. We were in a hurry. (what else is new) We

Boston Burger Co.

Of course as you can assume by the title of this blog, we are in Boston! One of our favorite cities we have been to. While compiling our list of "go-to" restaurants, I stumbled upon Boston Burger Co. When we arrived we found the place to be busy, but not overwhelming. We both enjoyed the layout and how comfortable the room was. We were seated at a booth right away and looked over the menu's. Boston burger co. has a list of many specialty burgers. I took a picture of their menu while we were there to give everyone an idea of what you may find upon  your visit.  Note- this picture is from Summer of 2017, so the menu may have changed since then. After browsing the menu for a moment, I made my choice.  The Mac Attack The Mack Attack has a homemade mac and cheese with four cheeses, and bacon! What could be better? This burger was also featured on Diner's Drive-In's and Dives with Guy on Food Network! It wasn't too long befor

Boston Hot Dog Co.

I'm not sure how I came to find this local Restaurant, but I am sure glad that I did.  Boston Hot Dog Co.  We had been out and about checking all the sites in Salem MA prior to stopping in. We really enjoyed both of these towns. The people are down to earth and friendly. There was only one guy, who I believe owned the store working there.  There are many different hot dog options to pick from displayed along the wall. We stood there looking them all over for quite a while, and the older guy patiently waited and did not rush us whatsoever. Did I mention I love the people here?  I'm unsure of the specific names of the hot dogs we picked. I wish I would have taken a quick picture of the menu, but unfortunately I did not.  The hot dog I picked had baked beans, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onion, and tomato. They are all served with delicious toasted buns. Drooling. I just had to get a hot dog with beans since we were in bean town. And I am so glad I did

THE POST: about pizza

We recently went to Louisville, Kentucky for a quick weekend trip. Finding ourselves hungry late at night, we were happy to stumble upon The Post . So we decided to grab some food to go and head back to the room. The Post is a cool new age restaurant and bar that serves pretty decent pizza. Its a good thing that they stay open so late because we needed something to satisfy our late night traveling hunger after a night of exploring. The menu has plenty to offer such as subs, breads, salads, and pizzas of course. Not only is the pizza good but you can order it by the slice which gave it a very convenient New York feel.  The inside of the restaurant was really well set up, it was the perfect setting for any crowd who wants a fun late night out. The bar area was really busy, it seemed like a fun place to hang out on the weekend. We ordered two slices of pepperoni and one slice of cheese along with an order of breadsticks. The pizza was very good, the cheese had a n
