Howling Wolf Taqueria

Hello everyone! This blog is going to be a little different than others! Much, much, shorter but none-the less fun. Tasty is in the streets of downtown Salem!  We present to you Howling Wolf Taqueria! If this isn't the truest sign, I don't know what is.  Upon reaching our destination we loved the cute modern decor outside.  We were here for chips and salsa, and drinks.  This place was perfect for that.  Howling wolf has a big selection of drink choices, which I loved and took advantage of,  Also the chips and salsa were great. We sat at the bar, and the bar tender was awesome. We were offered food menu's but they did not try to force us into ordering anything.  The first drink I ordered was the Howling Margarita, which is their most basic Marg on the menu. They offer other flavors you can add to make it even tastier. I decided to go with Blood Orange in mine. I thought it was cool they offered this flavor choi

Supino Pizzeria

While on a mini day trip in Detroit, Michigan, we wondered what the best pizza in all of Detroit might taste like... and I think we accomplished that wonder. Supino pizzeria is among the Eastern Market, only a short walk from all of the shops. We were having a fun day exploring the many shops the East market had to offer, and thought we would travel by foot to grab a slice of pizza. We had read so many great things about Supino which had our taste buds tingling. It was extremely busy from the time we arrived and the time we left. We did not even attempt to get a table as we were planning to grab a quick slice and continue our Detroit voyage. We kept it simple and ordered a slice cheese, one slice of pepperoni, and Detroit's famous Faygo soda.  We received our pizza after a short wait and headed to the car. At first glance we were very intrigued by the thin crispy look of it. It turned out to be exactly how we imagined it.... TASTY! There is nothing like a

HOT CHICKEN TAKEOVER - OH MY

Tasty is going to the Short North in Columbus for this review. There are so many restaurants that can be found here. For this review we chose Hot Chicken Takeover at the North Market. Hot Chicken is not limited to only the Short North area though, they have a couple of other locations here in Columbus.  As you can assume, Hot Chicken features fried chicken meals. You can chose what kind of meat you would prefer. I opted for the boneless chicken breast. After deciding on which pieces you would like you also get to chose your heat level. Awesome right? I went with mild because I like things a little spicy, but not too over the top. I thought the chicken was delicious! The mild choice was perfect for me.  With the meal you also get two side dishes! They give you a heaping helping of macaroni and coleslaw. And last but not least, you get a slice of bread they serve under your chicken. By placing the bread underneath it absorbs all the extra sauce and flavors from t

Tea-DO, really is a must do!

On our trip to Salem, we also stopped in Boston MA. And in Boston you will find a very small Chinatown. And in that Chinatown, you will find Tea-Do .  Whenever we get the chance, we love to stop in and try small things in every larger cities Chinatown. We were fortunate enough to make it to the one in Boston. I had always wanted to try bubble tea, especially after it has gotten so much hype lately on the web. And I thought to myself, why not now? Tea-do offers a large variety of specialty drinks for everyone. They are also open late, which was surprising to us because most of that area closed somewhat early. The restaurant is also on the smaller side, and we hear the locals love to come here and hangout. With that being said the place can fill up rather quickly. It's a fast paced environment and you feel like you don't have time to spare.  Since it was my first time ever ordering bubble tea, I basically had no idea what it was I was trying to find, or trying to
